We proudly present “Philly’s Constant Hitmaker,” Kurt Vile, one of the finest songwriters currently gracing the internet (and record stores too, you thieves). AND for this tour he has his trusty Violators alongside to help us remember what rock n roll feels like. In the last 2 years alone, Kurt has put out three fantastic LPs. These cats bring us the stuff of noisy psych-out legend, straight outta texas. Wikipedia calls their live show “seizure-inducing.” They’re stopping at Vassar smack in the middle of their “Live Music” tour, which sees them share the stage w/ Faust and Psychic Ills among others. In the humble opinion of this reporter, they are a huge deal. With any luck, they will blow your fucking mind.
